The health and safety of our guests remains our key focus at the Royal Caribbean Group. Due to the current global environment, we've made the tough decision to voluntarily suspend cruise operations through November 30, 2020.
For Royal Caribbean International this includes all Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific departures throughout December 31, 2020. Additionally, Spectrum of the Seas’ China sailings through September and Quantum of the Seas through October 1, 2020 have also been cancelled. Likewise, as announced previously, Odyssey of the Seas sailings between November 5, 2020 and April 17, 2021 have been cancelled as a result of her delayed debut.
For Celebrity Cruises, this includes the full 2020/21 Winter Season for Asia and Australia with the following exclusions: Celebrity Silhouette 11/8/20 and 11/20/20; Celebrity Infinity 11/16/20 - Cancelled Within Phase 7 on 8/5/20, Celebrity Solstice 11/9/20, 11/23/20, 12/5/20, 12/14/20, 12/24/20 and Celebrity Eclipse 11/10/20, 11/24/20, 12/8/20, 12/10/20, 12/23/20 – Cancelled Within Australia Phase 2 on 9/15/20
All Azamara Cruises have been cancelled and will resume operations as follows: Azamara Quest will resume on March 20, 2021 with a 12-night Spain Intensive voyage from Lisbon to Rome; Azamara Journey on April 9, 2021 with an 8-night Iberia Intensive voyage from Lisbon to Barcelona, and Azamara Pursuit on May 9, 2021 with a series of new Greece Intensive voyages roundtrip Athens.
This will allot additional time to solidify our safety measures as we work to welcome you and your clients back onboard. We are thoughtfully analyzing every aspect of the cruise experience and, as you can imagine, this takes time but we are steadily making progress.
Through our healthy return to service program, we are not only reinforcing current standards, but setting new ones at every turn. This new program will focus on four key aspects of the cruise experience - upgraded screening prior to boarding, enhanced processes onboard, focused approach on the destinations we visit, and heightened procedures for managing any reports of exceptions.
Through it all, we understand the disappointment that comes with interruptions to your clients' travel plans. Those guests currently confirmed on the aforementioned sailings, and not previously canceled under our Cruise with Confidence offer, will have the option to select from several compensation options.
